This beautiful handmade Kazak rug had become heavily soiled and dull over time, with years of accumulated dust and dirt affecting the appearance of its intricate design. We began with a thorough rug dusting to remove deeply embedded dry soil before carrying out a specialist full-immersion rug wash, carefully treating the fibres while protecting the rug’s original character. The deep-cleaning process lifted years of built-up dirt and brought out the original vibrant colours of the rug, restoring the richness and definition of its traditional Kazak design. Once fully rinsed and carefully dried, the rug was left looking refreshed, brighter and much closer to its original beauty.
